DJ Hire FAQ | Preparing for your Event

We provide professional DJ entertainment for weddings, birthday parties, private celebrations, anniversaries, corporate events, children's parties and much more. We’re also proud to support our local community, having worked with local charities and organisations including The Regal Theatre in Tenbury Wells. Wherever possible, we’re happy to lend our entertainment services to support local good causes and help make a positive difference in the community.

We provide service across Herefordshire & Worcestershire, however we are happy to travel further across the Wider West Midlands area too.

Yes. Upon booking, we require a £50 non-refundable deposit to secure and reserve your event date. Your booking is only confirmed once the deposit has been received.

Absolutely. You can let us know your favourite songs, artists and genres, and we'll tailor the music to suit your event. We can also go the extra mile by creating a personalised playlist, allowing your guests to choose a favourite song to add to the evening. It's a great way to get everyone involved and make the music feel truly personal to you and your guests.

Yes. Our DJ setups include professional disco lighting to complement the music and help create a fantastic party atmosphere.

Yes. Karaoke can be included for suitable events, giving your guests the opportunity to get involved and enjoy a fun, interactive experience.

Yes. Guests can make requests during the event and we'll do our best to accommodate them while keeping the music suited to your celebration.

We recommend booking as early as possible, particularly for weddings, weekends and popular dates. However, it's always worth contacting us as we may still have availability.

We recommend allowing us at least an hour and a half before your event starts, giving us plenty of time to get everything ready and ensure your sound and lighting are all set before your guests arrive. You don't need to provide any assistance — we take care of the entire setup and pack-down ourselves, leaving you free to enjoy your event.

Yes. We take safety and professionalism seriously. We hold public liability insurance, we are DBS checked and all equipment is PAT tested giving you extra peace of mind when booking Wave Discos for your event, including weddings, children's parties, schools and community events.
